The group meets to practise a variety of crafts. In 2022-23, we made an appliqué bag, felting pictures, a pencil holder, a cross stitch key ring, and a Christmas decoration out of Suffolk puffs. Our crafting was accompanied by a lot of chat, making it a very pleasant way to pass a morning.
In 2023-24, the group is becoming more of a Stitch and Chat group, with members meeting to progress their own craft projects rather than all working towards the same end product. It is intended to accommodate anyone interested in any form of stitching be it embroidery, tapestry, cross stitching or any textile art, with help and advice being available from more experienced members. We expect to pass many relaxing mornings stitching and chatting over coffee and biscuits.
