Our painting group is open to all painters, of any ability using any medium - pencils, charcoal, watercolour, acrylics, oils. Experienced painters come to paint in company or to get extra practice; the inexperienced just want to get started and can find people to offer suggestions on materials and subjects. Everybody seems to get something out of gathering together to paint, to relax, to socialise, to share and compare.
If you want to have a go at painting/drawing, come along even if you haven’t painted before, or not since school, or want to start again. Bring your own materials but don’t worry if you haven’t got any. We can let you have paper and so on for that first occasion and give advice on what you might get for future use.
