Aims and Objectives of group:
To play together music at an appropriate level and enjoy the challenge of something new.

Any expertise needed:
Some sight reading ability of music is an advantage and some practice at home will be expected so that the group can go forward together.

Equipment needed:
Members will be required to provide their own recorders and tutor book (Jean is happy to advise on this). A music stand will eventually be needed.

Maximum number in group:
5 members who have not played the recorder before or not for a long time.

Location, day and time of meetings:
Home, Friday 2nd & 4th week, 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm.

Brief description of a typical meeting:
Although Jean is not a qualified recorder teacher she has been playing for several years and wishes to introduce others to the pleasure it give her.
The group will learn to play the recorder, treble, descant or tenor under her supervision, gaining from her expertise, all within a small group of like minded people.
