u3a is a volunteer-led organisation for people who are no longer working full-time. We offer the chance to pursue a diverse range of activities at very little cost in a social environment.

Our annual membership fee is £12.00. for the period April 2024-March 2025

There are two ways to join Dunstable u3a.

1. Attend our monthly meeting, where you will be welcomed, introduced to what we are about and invited to join by completing the Membership Form and paying the fee either by Cash, Cheque or Bank Transfer. (Recommended)

2. If you are happy to join without attending a meeting, you can download, print and complete the Membership Application Form then post it to the address shown on the information sheet page 2. You should indicate on the form if paying the fee by cheque or bank transfer, if by cheque please include it in the envelope with the membership form.

In addition to the membership fees, for some groups there may be a special clothing/equipment/rental of venue costs & a contribution towards refreshments.

The New Members Welcome Pack provides a good introduction to our u3a.

Note: You can be a member of more than one u3a.

NEW MEMBERS MEETINGS

New Members meetings are normally held every 3 months at 10 a.m. on a Friday morning at the Methodist Church. New members are welcomed by the Chair who explains the objective of the u3a and introduces the Trustees. Group Liaison Officers give a brief overview on various groups and how to join them. The Chair of the Social Committee will also give a short resume of the group outings.
