Group Leader Ian Lancaster
The Egyptology Group meets at the Old Hall in Fairfield Street, Warrington (WA1 3AJ), Room 11, on the fourth Monday of the month, starting at 1.30pm.
The aim is to develop members’ interests in the incredible culture of Ancient Egypt through illustrated talks, videos, discussions, objects, and museum visits.
The March meeting will be a visit to the Egyptology Gallery at Warrington Museum. There will be two visits, Monday 25th March (starting at 1.30pm) and Friday 29th March (starting at 10.00am). There are a few places left for the Friday visit but the Monday visit is now full. There is a charge (levied by the museum) of £2.50 per head, payable on the day.
Subsequent meetings are:
April 29th (moved forward due to Easter), and June 24th. The meeting in May will have to be cancelled due to the Bank Holiday.
