We have already arranged our next 2 overnight Theatre visits as follows:
SCARBOROUGH - Backstage Tour & Play - 1 night stay over.
'SEASONS GREETINGS' was agreed on as best play to go for: Wednesday 7th August
Morning: Travel to Scarborough
1.30 pm: Backstage Tour : £4 per head
7.30 pm Performance : from £15 depending on seating.
Thursday 8th August : Look round Scarborough in the morning; Travel back Thursday pm.
TRAIN: Straight through from LEA GREEN on the Liverpool line. 2 hours 32 no changes.
Out : 0908 arrives 1140 £20.40 with railcard OR 1008 arrives 1242 £11.55 with railcard
Return: 1646 arrives 1912 £20 with railcard OR 1746 arrives 2012 £11.55 with railcard
KESWICK THEATRE TRIP - 4 nights to see 6 plays. (details of plays are attached in link to the right)
The schedule this year hasn't worked out as well as last year and it was decided to make more of a visit and see 6 plays - details:

Sunday 20th - TRAVEL HOME
As we were unable to do a backstage tour last year, I will try again this year on one of our spare mornings/afternoons.
Jennie Radley and I will book tickets and accommodation - and some of us are staying only 2 nights, so travel could be arranged for the 2 night stay.

WHERE WE MEET:
Our group meets in the Lounge in Bold Street Methodist Church Hall [from Bold Street, through the second back entrance—not the Cafe entrance—to the 2nd Floor, (there is a lift) through double doors then the room on your right every:
1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
We start the meetings with a coffee/tea and discuss the lists of what's on at local theatres and Cinema Screenings of plays at the Odeon Westbrook and Cineworld Runcorn as well as local Amateur Dramatics. Its then down to the subject of the day - see diary below.
