Our motto: "Together we make a good sound"
The Ukulele Group playalong is a great place to enjoy playing your ukulele. We have great fun with songs that I am sure will be familiar to you and we have a large projector screen too showing the words and chords of the song.
Our motto is: “Together we make a good sound” which means that individually you can join in and learn at your own pace and enjoy strumming and singing whatever your playing ability. However if you’ve not played a ukulele before then check out Ukulele Learning where Ken will get you started.
If you’re just starting out with the ukulele then this group will be a good practise session for you though everyone is here to enjoy themselves and you’ll certainly be doing that whether you practise or not.
The group meets on alternate Thursdays and a list of our dates can be found on our Dates sub-page on the right of your screen.
Our afternoon begins at 1.30pm but if it is your first time then please try to arrive about 1.10pm so that we can welcome you.
So come and join us and we’ll make you very welcome.
