Warrington

Walking

Group Leader is Alan Broadbent

The Walking Group offers its members 3 walks on each Wednesday (except the first Wednesday of any month where there is a Group Meeting).

The 'A' walk is of 7-10 miles in length, takes most of the day and involves travelling greater distances. The 'B' walk is 5-6 miles in length and is a morning walk with a pub lunch. The 'C' walk is a shorter walk of about 3-4 miles also with a pub lunch.

Walkers are responsible for getting to the walk start which in the case of the shorter 'B' and 'C' walks is usually within 25 miles of Warrington, and for the longer 'A' walk within 50 miles of Warrington. Members have no commitment to walk every week and may alternate between the longer and shorter walks as they wish. We publish a programme of the walks twice a year giving brief details of each walk. A summary of the current schedule is shown in the links on the right hand side.

New walkers are requested to contact Alan Broadbent who will then be able to send them more details
OR
Link to our Walks for details of the next walk.
