WEEKLY WEDNESDAY WALKS

The group tries to offer 3 walks each Wednesday, but not the first Wednesday of the month when there is a General Meeting. The programme continues through July and August on each Wednesday.

At the moment we are offering a programme of A & B walks, but there are no C walks currently offered. If we get enough leaders we will offer a more complete programme. All walkers are asked to contact the walk leader before going on a walk in case of last minute changes, or if walk leaders need to limit numbers.

The 'A' walk is usually of 7-10 miles in length, takes most of the day and involves travelling greater distances of up to 50 miles.

List of A Walks

The 'B' walk is usually 5 to 6 miles in length and is a morning walk, usually with a pub lunch. Travelling distances should be within 25 miles.

List of B Walks

The 'C' walk is a shorter walk of about 3-4 miles, also usually with a pub lunch. Travelling distances should be within 25 miles. Currently no 'C' walks have been offered.

List of C Walks

Walkers are responsible for getting to the walk start themselves. There is no commitment to walk every week and members may alternate between the longer and shorter walks as they wish.

New walkers are requested to register with the Group Leader, Simon Hutt, using the link at the top of the walking pages.

Can leaders please send details of their walks for inclusion in the programme to me using the link at the top of the walking pages.
