Warrington

French

The Group Leader is Stuart Miller

Please contact the Group Leader before attempting to join this group as there are currently no vacancies and a ‘waiting list’ is being maintained.

The French group meets every Tuesday at 2:00pm at Padgate Community Centre, Station Road South, Padgate, Warrington WA2 0QS.

We are a ‘self-help’ group and our meetings follow many and varied routes, from grammar to games, literature to life-style. We use a mixture of resources including audio, video, and the printed word. Every member of the group is invited (though definitely NOT obliged) to present a lesson or part of a lesson. Our level of knowledge is fair, though not extensive, and you may struggle for quite a while if you are an absolute beginner — but don’t let that deter you! It’s all fun and we wouldn’t continue to do it if it weren’t.

We are a friendly group and, space permitting, new members are always welcome. If you have ever thought about improving your French, then come and join us.

For full details of meeting dates refer to the Warrington U3A Schedule. See Link on Groups page.
