Book Group 1 meets in the Hatton Suite in the Winmarleigh Rooms at 10.15 a.m. on the first Friday of each month.
Book Group 2 meets in the Hatton Suite in the Winmarleigh Rooms at 10.15 a.m. on the third Friday of each month.
We have been active for more than 10 years and have covered a vast range of literature in that time. Our passion for reading excites us still. Our discussions are lively, stimulating, invigorating, thought-provoking, sometimes challenging but always fun. The group decides what we will be reading over the ensuing months. The choices range from the classics to the modern, from past to present, across time and across cultures. All agree we have tackled books which without the group we might never have dreamt of considering. We are never finished expanding our minds - never finished with the joy of reading.
