Art Appreciation

Group Leader is Diane Bloxham

From Titian to Turner, and more. You are welcome to come along and enjoy looking at artworks with us. Learn the story behind paintings throughout the ages.

This year we are looking at works from 1900, still considered modern. First, though, we have Holbein's portraits from the time of the Tudors.

The Art Appreciation Group meets from 2pm to 4pm on the second Monday of the month in Room 9, The Old School, 17 Fairfield St, Warrington WA1 3AJ.

There is a large car park at the back of the school, and a bus stop close by at the end of Fairfield St.

The group listen and learn about art and there is the opportunity to discuss works if you wish. Meetings are for everyone, with or without experience in the subject.

We're planning a great programme for next year, which will be reviewed with members. See below for dates for September 2023 to June 2024.
