Brass Band
Group Leaders Lynne Cordingley and Mike Miller
Come and join this group to learn to play a brass instrument and to read music at your own pace in a friendly setting.
The instruments involved are those found in a brass band, e.g. cornets, baritones, euphoniums, basses. These will be provided on loan, free of charge.
Our group consists of beginners and a few people who have played before.
Music and tuition are be provided with the instrument and hopefully a training band will evolve that can take part in engagements. People should bring their own music stand and a small towel to protect the floor.
We meet on 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month 1.30 - 3pm at Alford Hall games room, WA1 3NJ.
