Did you ever want to be able to say more than "Buenos Dias" and "Una cerveza por favor" when you are in Spanish speaking countries? Maybe you can speak more than these phrases and would like to practice or improve your knowledge. Why not give us a try? We are a friendly and welcoming group that meet weekly to converse in Spanish, our members are at different levels so all you need is the desire to improve and acquire confidence. The leader is a native speaker.
Did you know that there are 21 Spanish speaking countries in the world and it is spoken by 486 million people? Lots of possibilities there.
The Spanish Conversation Group meets weekly on Tuesdays. We do mostly conversation on any topic the members wish to discuss, we read books, poetry, news, music, do some grammar, etc. The group is mixed ability with those who already have a greater depth of vocabulary, grammar and fluency in the language as well as those who are not so advanced but wish to improve by listening and participating at their own pace.
