Training Video Appreciation
Alan Speed, the Training Video Appreciation Group Leader has spent nearly 40 years designing and running Management, Sales and Communication Skills Training Courses in UK, Europe and the Middle East.
As a result he has acquired a collection of over 600 VHS Training Videos - many of which are very amusing and entertaining - staring actors such as John Cleese, Ronnie Corbett, Penelope Keith, Bernard Cribbins, Arthur Lowe, Robin Nedwell, Dawn French, Hugh Lawrie, The Muppets, Dilbert and other famous faces from TV and Film.
Each video is typically between 5 and 20 minutes in length.
The "Training Video Appreciation Group will consist of a monthly 2 Hour Sessions - somewhat akin to the existing Jazz, Music, Art, Shakespeare and Book Appreciation Groups - where we would play about 4 or 5 requested videos and discuss the learnings and rate / score them on their educational and entertainment value. (Like Juke Box Jury, we could have a Buzzer for Group Members to request a video to be ejected from the video player !)
