Psychology B
29/11/2023 - One space available
Psychology B meets 3rd Monday of the month. This group is primarily a discussion group of topics suggested by its members, with a focus on psychology.
In 2024 we hope to have the occasional speaker come visit the group to give a more formal insight into particular aspects of Psychology.
Up to now, we have held a "layman's" perspective of subjects like What is Psychology, Sibling Relationships, Is Technology Changing our Brains, Self Image/Perception, Conditioning and Nudge. All on the basis of our own experiences, of our research (as basic or as detailed as interest desires), and have an open mind to each person's opinions. It's surprising how many valid points of view we have on any particular topic.
Do come and join us if you like to explore how people differ, how they are influenced and how they might react. Spaces are limited to allow everyone a chance to have their say, so keep an eye on our group if we are currently to capacity.
We have a confidentiality agreement so that we feel safe enough to be open about our topics. However, we are not a self-help therapy group. This is purely for interest and recreation.
