London Discovery

London Discovery gives you an option to explore further the wonderful city on our doorstep

We offer a variety of options - guided walks, visits to historic houses, livery companies, backstage tours of theatres, quirky unknowns, etc…..

Members of London Discovery undertake to offer these events. I'm sure we are all hugely grateful to them for all they do. New volunteers always appreciated!

Below you can see a list of events already confirmed. We have many more at the planning stage so do keep checking this page. If any take your interest I suggest you note them in your diary.

A few weeks before each event all members of the London Discovery group will receive an email containing a flyer about the event. The flyer will also be posted on the webpage. The flyer will include details of the event, the date, duration, any challenges, starting point and time, cost, etc. The organiser may offer options for group travel or maybe for group refreshment after the event. It will tell you how to book yourself onto the trip, including the time when booking opens. This is to ensure equal opportunity to everyone if the trip is oversubscribed. If you try to enrol before the opening time, your booking will not be taken. You can apply for yourself and one other member. If the trip is oversubscribed, it may be possible for us to repeat the event. Please note - you apply to the trip organiser whose email will be on the flyer, not to Liz the Group Leader.
