Caterham & District

Cinema

For members on their own, or whose partners don't have the same taste in films, the Cinema group provides an opportunity to meet up with others to see major films at the local cinemas.

For example, recent films seen have encompassed a variety of genres and interests, including: Darkest Hour ,The Post, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Jack Reacher, Hidden Figures, Star Wars (seen of course in 3D), and Breathe.

It's very friendly and casual, with no regular commitment or cinema-buff knowledge required. The Group Leader emails members with details of the film, and when and where it will be shown. Usually it's a late afternoon show with everyone meeting up in the bar before the programme starts. Members simply turn up, or not, as their circumstances and preferences suit.

If you would like to join the group or to find out more, please use the "pigeon post" icon on the top right hand of the screen or contact the Groups Co-ordinator.
