History of Science
History of Science Group- updated description November 2018
Ever wondered how we got here?
Our modern world is changing before our eyes and sometimes it’s difficult to keep up! One way to understand these changes is to learn about how we came here, and the History of Science is a key part of gaining that insight. So why not come along to our HISTORY OF SCIENCE group? We are starting a new programme in 2019 where members will share their knowledge of key inventions, developments and technologies. This ranges from the history of Mobile Communications, to the developments of the Railways, from Surgery and optical problems to Cyborgs!
We meet every month on the 4thThursday at 2pm in the Lichfield Community Fire Station. We are looking for new members – just contact the Group Leader, Chris Lock and come and join us!
For further information please contact Chris Lock by clicking onto the CONTACT link at the top of the page and leave a message.
