Our Science Group is a friendly group with monthly attendances around 20. We meet at the St Matthews Parish Centre, The Drive, Northampton on the first Wednesday in the month at 10.00am and have room for new members if you are interested in joining us. Usual cost is £2 per session, to cover the cost of room hire and refreshments.
Whilst some of us a have a science or technical background, many do not, but are just interested in finding out how the world works. We cover the whole range of scientific and technical topics through presentations prepared by members, supplemented by the occasional guest speaker. We usually have 2 presentations per meeting to allow more time for the varied topics we are covering.
