Monthly Meetings

A monthly meeting is held for all members on the last Tuesday of every month (excluding December) at 2:30pm in our meeting venue at "The Old Speckled Hen Lounge", Northampton County Cricket Ground, Wantage Road, or Abington Avenue, Northampton NN1 4PR.

Please note that Membership Cards must be shown when attending all Monthly Meetings.

Please note that the doors will NOT be open until 2:00pm enabling your Committee to prepare the seating etc.

Tea and Coffee volunteers

Volunteers serve the tea and coffee (4 people) at each general meeting. You need to arrive at the meeting between 1.30pm and 2pm to set up.

Group displays will be shown at monthly General Meetings to allow groups to share what they do with the membership of Northampton U3A. If you want your group to participate in this, please contact Jo Stroud.

All monthly general meetings start promptly at 2.30pm in Turner Suite at Northampton County Cricket Ground. Other meeting venues are specifically stated.

And do not forget, that the membership fee of £20 this year, gives you free entrance to all our Monthly Meetings as shown below.

A local speaker, who comes recommended. We look forward to discovering why this facility is in Kettering.
Tue Nov 27th Natural History of Christmas - Michael Leach
Michael returns with more stories. This illustrated talk shows how our love of Christmas trees helps conserve owls. It uncovers the true character of our favourite Christmas bird - the robin, and looks at the origin of the Yule log. But, most interesting of all, it reveals just how it might be that reindeer come to fly.
