Ten Pin Bowling

Leader: Brian Adams Tel: 01604 403060

NEWS March 2021

Current Covid rules state that indoor mixing will be allowed with a maximum of 6 people, but no earlier than 17th May 2021,so June is the earliest we can start playing again…see below for dates.
The Northampton U3A has a ten pin bowling group and we meet on the second Thursday each month (except in August, when we do not play because of school holidays and April, when we play on the 1st Thursday again because of school holidays ) at 2pm, at Tenpin, Sixfields in Northampton and everybody is invited.

10 pin bowling YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD TO BOWL….THAT’S TEN PIN BOWLING WITH NORTHAMPTON U3A AT SIXFIELDS…..IT’S GOOD COMPANY, GOOD FUN AND A GOOD GAME.

Please contact me direct by phone or email (by clicking the link on the top right) for further details or if you have any questions, otherwise just turn up at 1:50pm… the group look forward to meeting you.
Because we’ve joined as a club, the cost currently is £6:45 (July 2020) for two games (all in), which is terrific value compared to normal rates and if you fancy a drink whilst playing, there is a bar but that costs extra.

Put your mind at rest if you are unsure about your abilities, this game is for everybody….you can even `close the gutters`, so every ball will nearly always knock down some pins. What other activity can promise near 100% success, not be impacted by the weather and generates a fantastic opportunity to have a chat, improve your health through activity and allow you a bit of friendly competition.

U3A TEN PIN DATES FOR REMAINDER OF 2021

  • JUNE 10TH
  • JULY 8TH
  • AUGUST WE DON'T PLAY
  • SEPTEMBER 9TH
  • OCTOBER 14TH
  • NOVEMBER 11TH
  • DECEMBER 9TH
