Table Tennis
On Monday 24th June 2013, the first table tennis session was held. The group has become so successful it has now been split into 3 groups (see below). See some pictures of the group.

All three table tennis groups can accept more players, especially the Tuesday group, so please contact the respective group leader if you are interested or wish for more information...thank you.
Venue for ALL three groups
Venue: Main hall, Lings Forum, Wellingborough Road, Weston Favell, Northampton, NN3 8JR (across the road from Weston Favell shopping centre Tesco car park). Tel: 01604 837300
Parking: Lings Forum car park or Tesco car park (there is a four hour limit). Don’t park in `B & M`- only 90 minute limit and you get fined for overstaying the time.
Day/Time: Every Monday (10:00 to 12:00) and Wednesday (10:00 to 12:00).
Note: Please bring your U3A membership card.

Table Tennis 1 and 2 general information
Cost: £1 per person per session, payable to the group leader on the day.
Come and join us, no experience is necessary but if you can play, even better…. Please bring trainers with good grip, a drink (it can get thirsty) but don’t worry if you have no bat, these and the balls are provided. See you there…

Table tennis 3(Improvers, Intermediate and up)

2 - 4 pm each Tuesday at Lings; As the Monday and Wednesday sessions mainly play doubles games. Tuesday sessions are for those who wish to play singles games. It is suitable for experienced players of all levels but not suitable for beginners. You are welcome to come along and see if it is for you. We have the use of 3 tables in the main gym hall. Cost is now £2 or £3 depending on numbers.
