Interest Group leader: Edward Stothard
Meeting information: Meets every Wednesday at 3pm to 5pm
Meeting venue: Ickenham.
We play badminton for enjoyment and exercise. We are a friendly group and don't take ourselves too seriously, although we can be a little competitive sometimes.
Our venue has only one court, which is slightly undersized. The current group is of intermediate standard. Unfortunately, there is no beginners group at the moment. As we have just one court, we play only doubles. We use long lasting cork-based nylon shuttlecocks rather than the feathered shuttles favoured by advanced players.
