Really Useful Group - R.U.G.
The Really Useful Group - (R.U.G.) - Leader: Pat McAlpine
We have many members of Hillingdon u3a who do not want to be on the committee but are willing to help out from time to time, and their help is much appreciated. They form the Really Useful Group, or the RUG as we know them.
This group was formed a few years ago and due to the recent events, it's taken a while to detail their role. However, we would now want to expand and utilise this group.
Below is a list of example activities we might occasionally need some help with;
- Being an usher or Meeter & Greeter (M&G) at monthly meetings.
- Serving refreshments at events.
- Distributing posters or leaflets.
- Stuffing envelopes for example - to deliver membership cards or Newsletter/Bulletins.
- Manning a stall to recruit new members.
If you would be prepared to help out on occasions, we would be pleased to hear from you. Tell us which of these things you would be willing to do.
Please contact the Pat McAlpine, via this website.
