The Bird Study Group likes regular walks around Ruislip Lido and the Woods to spot our feathered wildlife and we have visited Stockers Lake a number of times.
We've also had two trips to the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust in Barnes which have been enjoyable and informative for our members. Along with these, we have also had a great guided walk around the local nature reserve at Harefield Place.
All of our visits provide sighting and identification of 20-30 bird species, plus the opportunity to view fungi, wild flowers, butterflies and trees at the relevant time of the year. We help each other with identification.
