The monthly ramble usually takes place on a Monday,Tuesday,or Wednesday (occasionally on a Thursday) and is typically about 5-7 miles in length. The details of each ramble will be shown on this website about a month before they take place.
The ramble gives us the opportunity to walk through a wide range of landscapes and discover areas of countryside or city. The Group members find that rambling is an enjoyable and convivial way of becoming and keeping healthy.

|Wed Sep 25th||Circular walk from Surrey Quays Station along the river, through parks and docks.|
The Walk: Approximately six mile circular walk along good paths by the river, through parks and docks.
Time/Meet: 11am at Surrey Quays Station on the London Overground.
Travel Route: From the Hillingdon area, take the Metropolitan Line to Finchley Road and change onto the Jubilee Line and go to Canada Water. Here change onto the London Overground and travel southbound one station to Surrey Keys. Journey time from Rayners Lane (Metropolitan Line), when there are no problems, is approximately 50 minutes
Lunch: There will be a suitable spot for those bringing a packed lunch with a nearby pub for members who would like a wider range of refreshment.
