Interest Group leader: Nigel White
Meeting information: The group will generally meet infrequently on a Friday.
Meeting venue: Various in Hillingdon

If you are interested in cycling and would like to ride with fellow cyclists around the locality then contact Nigel White to be added to his group list. He will then be able to keep you informed of future planned rides.

Routes will be planned in advance which will take us on a combination of roads, tracks and woods.

Please remember to always check your bikes before a ride. Check the air pressure in the tyres, check the brakes are working and adjusted correctly and keep the chain lightly oiled.

So we look forward to seeing you on future rides, we're sure they will be good fun!

Rides Planned:
Friday 19th August
The route (planned by Charles Hendy) is entitled “Parks in Ruislip, Eastcote, and Pinner”.
We will meet at Ruislip underground station at 10-15 for a 10-30 set off.

The route:
Cycle to 45 Cranley Drive for a brief stop. This is where the spies, the Kroger’s lived before they were caught. Then Bessingby Park followed by Warrender Park, and then Eastcote House Gardens for a coffee stop and view the lovely walled garden. Then onto Pinner village gardens and then cycle up to Pinner church at the top of the high street to view a coffin above ground. Vice Admiral lord Nelson’s daughter is buried in the grave yard nearby (however, this was locked when Charles visited it). Finally, we cycle to Pinner Memorial Gardens for refreshments and afterwords we cycle back to Ruislip station where the ride ends.

Contact Nigel to join or for more information.
