Rambling
The Ramblers meet on the 4th Thursday of the month at 10.30. and walk for between 3 and 5 miles.
We leave promptly at the published time and the only cost that maybe incurred is possibly for parking.
I try to find a place to eat somewhere close to the start/end of the walk for those that would like to lunch or have some refreshment.
As the route of our walk can be varied suitable clothing, footwear and waterproofs would be recommended and maybe a change of clothing.
Any u3a member who is interested can just turn up for the walks as printed in the newsletter.

| Thu May 23rd | Thameside Nature Park to Horndon-on-the-Hill The address of the meeting point is:- Thameside Nature Park, Mucking Wharf Road, Stanford-le-Hope SS17 0RN When arriving at Thameside Nature Park please park in the first car park that you come to, just inside the gate on your right where we will commence our walk at 10:30. This is a new walk to our group that I'm sure you will enjoy. There is a visitors Centre at the Nature Park where it will be possible to get refreshments at the once we have completed our walk.
