Painting for Pleasure
|Meeting pattern||1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 1.00pm|
|Venue||St Thomas Church Hall|
A really scarlet half year this 2017 with a much more a consistent pallet. Gone are the Paynes grey and raw umber times when we were unsure of our future and now the tints of ochres and the warmth of vermillion fill St Thomas’s hall every 1st and 3 rd Tuesday afternoon of the month. The challenge of oils and the brashness of acrylics harmonise with the difficult watercolours, each raising cheers of delight and cries of anguish as hopes are dashed or achieved. Summer places live here as we revisit scenes we loved and return to in our mind.
There are still some vacancies should have such a paintbox; come and join us.
