Dates for your Diary
Wed Oct 23rd Life as your P.C.C. by Sue Mountstevens. Police and Crime Commissioner for Avon and Somerset.

We are very fortunate to have Sue Mountstevens as our guest speaker for this month. Sue called in one Friday at the Connect Centre during our coffee morning. So we seized the opportunity to ask if she would be prepared to address one of our monthly talks, and the rest as they say is history.
Sue was elected as the Police and Crime Commissioner for Avon and Somerset in November 2012. She was one of only twelve successful independent candidates and returned the largest majority in the country with over 125,000 votes. She was a lead member on Major Crime, served as Vice Chair on the Independent Monitoring Board at HMP Bristol and was a magistrate for 15 years.
Business experience in running a large retail and wholesale bakery for 20 years is evident in her initiative, the Business Crime Forum.
Running 10k in the Bristol marathon is one hobby she hopes to repeat, soon.
