Walking Group 1

We walk all over Somerset and even into Dorset and Wiltshire at times. Our walks range from 4.5 to the occasional 7 miles with a refreshing pub lunch and much needed drink at the end of each one.

Our walk leaders have a wide knowledge of the area and always manage to find either somewhere new or an interesting variation on an old walk and usually manage to find out many items of interest along the way. Walks are always well researched and surveyed in advance so that everyone knows what sort of terrain to expect and it is very rare for the weather to cause a cancellation - but it sometimes leads to some interesting walking conditions!
