Tuesday 12 Book Club
The Tuesday Twelve Book Club – so called because we meet on the third Tuesday of the month and 12 is the maximum number of members felt to be manageable.
Group leader is Jane Brooks – please contact via link on the top right of this page.
We meet in the St. Ives library in the large meeting room at 2pm.
The group is registered with the St Ives library who do their best to get as many copies of our chosen books, otherwise most books can be bought at a reasonable cost from local shops, Amazon, ebay etc. The choice of book comes from the group members, often because they have read others by that author or had that particular book recommended by a friend or have been influenced by a book review or pure curiosity. All opinions are welcome and at the end of the discussion session we give each book a score out of 10.
There is a charge for the hire of the room and also a yearly fee for the library service. This charge is shared equally by all members.
As of April 2024 we have space for two more members.
It is important that you are able to attend most sessions as there is often a waiting list for places.
