About the University of the Third Age (U3A)

U3As are self-help, self-managed lifelong learning co-operatives for older people who have permanently given up full-time work, providing opportunities for their members to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups and to pursue learning not for qualifications, but for fun.

St Ives (Cambs) U3A is a U3A in the town of St Ives, Cambridgeshire (to find out more about us click on link). We have around 800 members. Membership subscription is £13 per annum. Only paid-up members may take part in Group activities. You can download a membership application form from the Forms page.

Following the advice to all members (see Members page) that all meetings, group activities tours and trips are suspended until further notice, your committee has decided to suspend new membership invitations until we are back to normal. Membership forms (see Forms page) may still be downloaded BUT PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY FORMS IN TO BE PROCESSED UNTIL WE ARE OPERATIONAL AGAIN."
