GUIDANCE FOR THEATRE TRIPS

We would like to explain to you our Procedures and Rules when organising Theatre Trips.
We only allow St Ives U3A current members on trips.
We decide on the show and procure tickets, usually 50
Obtain a quote from Dews coaches.
Calculate the Trip price including Theatre ticket, Coach cost and drivers gratuity assuming that all tickets are sold. This is a guide price and would not go higher than top price quoted when advertising the trip.
We reserve the right to cancel an advertised trip if numbers are insufficient to provide transport.
The Trip is then advertised at the monthly meeting.
We obtain your name if you are interested and form a list in the order that your names are given to us.

We have to pay for theatre tickets 3 or 4 months before we go. We ask for theatre seat money from you before we pay which confirms that you are included. We only pay for confirmed seats.

BACS payment is preferred either online or by visiting your bank.

Payment details : St Ives (Cambs) U3A Social account
Sort Code: 40-16-08
Account: 74557352
Reference: Your membership number and trip name.

ONCE WE HAVE PAID WE CANNOT GET A REFUND ON THESE TICKETS.

All members going are added to our Beacon system which then also adds additional people to a waiting list in date order.
If we are subsequently informed that you are unable to attend, the first member on the waiting list is contacted.
If we are able to resell your ticket, we will refund money paid

IF WE ARE UNABLE TO RESELL YOUR THEATRE TICKET, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REFUND YOU.

Refunds will be made to your bank account by an online payment, once you have passed us your bank details.
Please contact Kathy Meadows with any queries or suggestions for future shows via the email link at the top of this page.
