Craft in the Conservatory
This is a small group and will be held in Elaine's home conservatory every fortnight during the Autumn & Spring term of each year. The group meets on a Wednesday morning 10.00-12.00. Arrival from 9.30 ready to start promptly at 10.00. Currently there are two groups running on alternate weeks.
There will be a 'surprise' project each session. Each person will need a tray to work on. It is not intended that members of the group will be very experienced crafters or needle workers as the projects will be varied and of a fairly simple nature.
A few items of equipment will be needed (e.g. scissors). Payment for the main materials will be made at the beginning of each term. Elaine usually buys these materials in 'bulk' to keep costs down for the members of the group. This has worked well and to the benefit of all. Anyone joining mid-term will pay on a pro-rata basis.
There will be plenty of opportunity for the members of the group to sit and chat whilst working and enjoy a cuppa too.
Elaine lives in St Ives close to bus routes.
