Snooker
Facilitator | William Dyer |
Meetings | Arthurlie House, Barrhead |
Time | 4th Tuesday of month at 7.30 - 9.30 pm |
Snooker was invented in 1875 by Neville Chamberlain - not that one, but an army officer in The Ooty Club at a Hill Station in India. He devised the principles and rules of the game, which is now played all over the World including East Renfrewshire.
Do you fancy potting some balls and maybe even achieving the magic 147?
Some basic knowledge of the game would be an advantage - the order of potting the balls and the scoring system - but not necessarily great skill!
Please make sure that you have carefully considered our Personal Risk Assessment before attending.
