Boules or pétanque as it is often known in France, is a game where metal balls are rolled or thrown to land as near as possible to a target ball - the 'jack' or 'cochonnet'. There are two teams which have one, two or three players and it is played on the 'terrain' which can be sand, gravel or grass. The principles are ancient and similar games have been played throughout history.
Beginners are welcome - so come and join in the fun and refreshments afterwards at a local cafe.
Please make sure that you have carefully considered our Personal Risk Assessment before attending.
