27 July 10.30am - Noon, The Peace Garden, Barshaw Park, Paisley - for the first outdoor meeting this year, we are visiting the Peace Garden, to admire and appreciate the hard work of the Friends of Barshaw Park and our own u3a Hands on Gardening Team, who do volunteer gardening there once a month. This is also a chance to have 'Tea-In-The-Park' and catch up with members, who you may not have seen for a while and meet new members too. Don't forget to bring your flask!
24 August 11.00am: Saughton Park, Edinburgh - the Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society will give a talk about their work in restoring the gardens in Saughton and also their plans for the future. Following coffee/ lunch, members can explore the wonderful gardens in the park at leisure.
28 September 11.00am: Queen Elizabeth Walled Garden, Dumfries House, Cumnock

The venues for the Garden Visits group meetings vary from month to month and sometimes meeting times are altered if we are travelling further afield.
