Cycling Offroad

This cycling group is directed towards individuals who enjoy exploring the countryside using traffic-free routes (cycle paths, canal/river paths, disused railway tracks etc.). Outings take place on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month and cover around 15-20 miles in total. Each outing incorporates a stop for coffee/lunch and a chat. Those with a standard bike or E-bike are welcome to join. A car and cycle rack will be required to transport your bike to the starting points. Some of our outings are joint ventures with the Bearsden & Milngavie u3a Cycling Group which opens up many additional routes north of the Clyde.
