The Arts are defined as: “the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination to produce works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.” (OED). So if you are someone who appreciates all aspects of the Arts and enjoys going to exhibitions and performances then this is the group for you! The range of Arts covered includes painting, sculpture, ballet and music. The events are usually either preceded by a pre-theatre meal or some other refreshments during or after the event
If you are particularly interested in Jazz and Blues music or Classical Music, visits to the Theatre or to the Cinema, then you should investigate our other specialised groups which cover these aspects of the Arts, as they may not be covered by this group.
