Monthly cycle rides have continued through most of the pandemic and it is envisaged that they will continue on the first Wednesday of the month. A number of changes have been made though:-
A risk assessment is produced for each ride and anyone wishing to join the ride is required to agree to the conditions described. If more than six cyclists express a wish to take part, then we split into two teams and a second leader is appointed in advance to follow a quarter of an hour behind the first one.
We either take our own drinks and sandwiches for a picnic (following social distancing rules) OR we use the facilities (picnic furniture) of a take-away café. We are a little uncertain how this will work out when it gets colder!
