Amblers Tuesday

We meet on the first Tuesday of every month except in January. All walks start at 10.30 am and average between 3 and 3.5 miles in length. Details and starting places for each walk are in the latest edition of Su3aN. It is hoped that members will take it in turns to plan a walk and help can be given with the planning.
We ask members to provide a phone contact in case of emergency.
Walking boots and hiking sticks are recommended.

| Tue May 7th | Assington Spring Walk Meet 10.15 for 10.30am start at the Suffolk Wildlife Trust Arger Fen car park, CO8 5BN. Beware of narrow roads and pot-holes on the approach to the ford. The walk is 3.5 miles across fields with open views and even a dragon. We will stop at St Stephen’s chapel which we hope will be open. Some steep paths and a steep incline up the lane at the end. You can go into the woods at the end of the walk to see the bluebells. Refreshments afterwards at The Barn at Assington café. Walk Leader: Andy Edgecombe: 07766 714455. |
