Photography
The Photography group meets on the second Tuesday of every other month at 2 p.m. at the group leader’s house in Groton.
For this reason, we have restricted membership to a nominal 10.
At each meeting we set a topic for the next meeting, the idea being that members use the next two months to take photographs on that topic (or perhaps trawl through their back catalogue for suitable images). All images are then displayed on a television screen from the member’s USB stick or camera memory card.
We each bring along about ten images with maybe a few spares, which we show and discuss.
In the intervening month we arrange an outdoor get-together at a location around Sudbury to take photos on the set subject and/or improve technique with our cameras/smart phones with the more experienced members passing on tips or helping to navigate camera controls.
You do not need a sophisticated camera to join but it does need to produce digital images. Smart phones are cameras too!
