Welcome to the Sudbury U3A website

Our U3a was formed in early 1989 by Doreen and Bill Beach with a membership of 30, and in this, our 30th Anniversary year,
our membership is approaching 870.
My committee and I are continually looking at means to ensure our thriving U3a continues to flourish and
welcome more committee members to enable us to do that.

Our aim is to ensure our U3a embraces the U3a ethos of Learn, Laugh and Live and that our members
have access to the informal learning and many activities available regardless of impairment or disability, ethnic origins etc.
You will find details of our committee members and Trustees for 2019/2020 under the Committee link.
You will also see links to details of our events, policies, groups etc.
Why not explore the groups which are available? We currently have around 76 interest groups - you can contact the leader of any group you may be interested in if you would like to go along for a taster session.
If there is something you are interested in and which is not currently listed, why not form your own group?
Our Groups Coordinator,Jennie Leech, will help you.
You will find up to date news in Sudbury U3a News (SU3aN) our newsletter which is published every 2 months.
You can read current and previous versions by clicking on the SU3aN link.
If you click on the Events link you will see details of various events.
