Learn, Laugh and Live!

Welcome to Sudbury u3a

All across the UK, u3a members are learning, staying active and having fun in later life.

Make the most of life once you're no longer in full time work by exploring new ideas, skills and interests with us here at Sudbury u3a.
It's local, social, friendly and low-cost.

Sudbury u3a was formed in early 1989 with around 30 members; that number has grown steadily over the years so we now have upwards of 700 members - but we still have room to grow!

Our aim is to ensure our u3a embraces the u3a ethos of Learn, Laugh and Live and that our members have access to the informal learning and many activities available regardless of impairment or disability, ethnic origins etc.

At this time, we are still in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic so are unable to pursue all our usual events and activities. However, some of our groups have restarted and our Monthly Speakers Meetings are being held via Zoom.

Why not explore our website, where you will find details of our groups, events and committee members etc.
You will find up to date news in our newsletter, Sudbury u3a News, commonly known as Su3aN. This is published every two months and you can read current and previous issues by clicking on the Su3aN link.

If you would like to join Sudbury u3a, you can find full details by clicking on the BLUE CONTACT bar at the the top of this page.

We look forward to meeting you in the very near future!
