Painting for Pleasure
This is a new group held in the Foster Rooms on the third Wednesday of each month from 9.00am until noon.
Painting, drawing and other applied art is practised within this new group at all levels of skill from beginners to those more accomplished.
Such groups are invariably harmonious allowing those doing creative work to concentrate on fine tasks.
The medium used by most members is water colour or crayon, others using acrylics or drawing utensils. Oil paints are fine but more of a problem to transport as the venue does not provide storage.
New and former members will be warmly welcomed to the meetings which run from
9.00 am to approximately 12 noon and held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month in the Foster Room sited near to the main roundabout in Stubbington close to Holyrood Church.
A small charge per session will be made to cover the cost of room hire.
