Garden Group
The intention of this newly formed group is to visit various Gardens throughout the year as well as Members hosting OPEN GARDENS
Meetings will not necessarily meet on the same day of the week each month to give people who belong to other groups the opportunity to take part.
Most of the places the group plan to visit have facilities for coffee & snacks and sometimes, lunch.
Members will be notified of the exact details of each visit at either a Core Meeting just before or by e-mail.

Members have had several get-togethers of 6 at a time in each others' gardens both this year and last, and enjoyed tea and cake and a chat! The first of our trips out took place last Tuesday (13th July) to Morton Hall Gardens near Inkberrow, where 19 of us enjoyed a talk on the history of the house by the owner, a tour of the beautiful gardens, and a homemade light lunch, eaten picnic style on the terrace. It didn't rain on us and neither were we fried by the sun, and a pleasant time was had by all. It is hoped to try and visit more lovely gardens, hopefully one each month, over the rest of the Summer and Autumn.
