Square Heads
The group meets at members' homes at times and days agreed amongst the members.
The Square Heads is a small group set up to study more difficult literary works over a period of time.
We started with T S Eliot and The Waste Land and have progressed through Hamlet, Proust and very slowly through Ulysses amongst several others including Sartre and Nausea and this was followed with King Lear and the cinema showing of the RSC performance.
If possible we try to link the work we are studying with either a visit to a place or a theatre performance.
During Coronavirus Lockdown the group has been meeting on-line and are studying Dante's Inferno
The group is full but if anyone wants to set up a similar group I am happy to help.
