Drawing- all abilities welcome
David has shared a couple of photos taken today 2nd February of the Drawing Group at St Saviour's Community Centre. We are a friendly bunch and sometimes chat, and other times it all goes very quiet when we are concentrating. We all do our own individual drawings and a couple of us are exhibiting in the Eisteddfod this year. It is very noticeable how people are improving with practice.
The Puffin was drawn by Lynn Cherry.
The Geranium is by Monica Atkinson, using coloured pencils.
The Cheetah’s Eye was drawn by Dave Ford, using pastels. He followed an online tutorial.
Mary Brogan drew this portrait of her partner Richard. The portrait was drawn with a graphite pencil and coloured by using watercolour crayons.
Our drawing group meets at 10.00 – 12.00pm on Wednesdays. The Venue is now St Saviours Community Centre.
We all are free to draw whatever we each wish, but please bring along your own drawing mediums, pencils, paper etc.
We don't have a formal teacher but our aim is to encourage each other and share what skills we have as a group in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cost per session is not more than £3 to cover the room hire. Occasionally during the summer we will venture out to draw some of our beautiful scenery.
There is room for new members, if you are interested in joining please click the pigeon.
