Patchwork can be done using recycled fabrics such as jeans, cotton shirts, old skirts or dresses or alternatively buy new fabrics on line or locally at Oatlands or Creasey's
Cutting mats, rotary cutters and irons for pressing are in site if you do not have your own or want to learn a little more about how to use them.
It is preferred if the work is to be done by hand but there is space for two sewing machines for machining in the group.
small items such as lavender bags, pin cushions, needle cases, cushion covers and bags are good starting items for beginners.
Not everyone wants to make a quilt.
