For their first walk of 2019 the group did something a little different. Gill Tapping has provided this City Walk report.
Walking Group 1 meets on the 2nd & 4th Monday's of the month at 9.45am for a 10am start.
Members of the group are actively encouraged to take turns at organising and leading a walk of between 4 and 6 miles (preferably circular) and sourcing a suitable venue for refreshments during and or after the walk.
THIS GROUP IS OVERSUBSCRIBED - however if you are interested in walking please contact Stuart Galloway who oversees all the Glenfield U3A walking groups - via the Walks Page,who will assist in finding a walking group for you.
